Abstract

Science and Technology (Science and Technology) has a very important role in the learning process and can significantly improve student achievement. The lack of understanding about the use of science and technology in learning has a negative impact on the development of students' abilities in this 21st era. This study aims to provide socialization about the use of science and technology in learning to students so that it can affect student achievement. The method in the service activities carried out is in the form of presentation of material related to the use of science and technology in learning and simulating learning applications with the use of science and technology, questions and answers, and distribution of questionnaires. Socialization was carried out to grade VI students at MI Ashabul Maimanah totaling 32 students. The instrument used for evaluation is a questionnaire of students' understanding of socialization material given before and after the activity. The results of service activities are the average understanding of students about the use of science and technology in learning of 89%, which is classified as very good. With a very good understanding of the use of science and technology in learning can provide great benefits for students and education as a whole, so as to improve student academic achievement
