Evektifitas Sosialisasi Pencegahan Dan Penanggulangan Kebakaran Di Smk N 4 Kota Serang Pada Siswa Dan Siswi Priode Tahun 2025

Abstract

Fire is one of the disasters that has the potential to cause great losses, especially in the school environment which is a public building with a high density of activities. To reduce the risk and impact of fires, it is necessary to socialize prevention and its management effectively. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the socialization of fire prevention and management at SMK N 4 Serang City to students in the 2025 period. Socialization activities were carried out through disaster mitigation education methods with a large group lecture approach equipped with demonstrations of light fire extinguishers (APAR), fire simulations in the field, and handling gas leaks. The implementation of this activity involves cooperation between the Student Work Lecture (KKM) of Bina Bangsa University and the Serang City Fire Service. The results of the activity show an increase in students' awareness and preparedness in dealing with fire hazards, which is expected to be able to reduce the number of fires in the school environment gradually. This research emphasizes the importance of structured and sustainable fire mitigation education as part of school safety and security efforts.
