Bahaya dan Dampak Penyalahgunaan NAPZA di Kalangan Pelajar (Studi Kasus di SMAN 1 Puloampel)

Abstract

The abuse of narcotics, psychotropic substances, and addictive substances (NAPZA) is a crucial issue that threatens students. This study aims to increase students' understanding and awareness of SMAN 1 Puloampel regarding the dangers, impacts, and legal consequences of drug use. This activity was held on Friday, July 25, 2025, through a counseling method in the form of a seminar and a question-and-answer session. The session included three sessions: material on the definition, types, and dangers of NAPZA; related legal aspects; and an interactive discussion. The results of the activity demonstrated the enthusiasm and active participation of 32 students. The students demonstrated a high level of interest in learning more about the types of NAPZA, their short- and long-term effects, and their physical, psychological, and social impacts. Furthermore, this activity successfully provided students with an understanding of the legal sanctions for NAPZA as stipulated in the Law. In conclusion, this counseling was effective in increasing students' awareness of the dangers of NAPZA and its legal consequences at SMAN 1 Puloampel. It is hoped that this will help them become more vigilant and avoid the use of illicit substances.
