Abstract

Waste accumulation occurs in several areas, including in Pancalaksana Village, Curug District, Serang City. In general, coconut shell waste has often been used as charcoal, but this does not happen to the use of durian shells. Currently, there is a way to make coconut shell charcoal into bioenergy products in the form of briquettes. The training on processing coconut shell waste and durian peels into triangular charcoal briquettes lasted for 7 days. Starting from waste drying, incineration, manufacturing and printing, drying, testing, and ending with product packaging. Several problems that arise in each process have managed to find solutions. With the final result that the charcoal briquettes made have successfully ignited after the briquettes are dried in the sun until they are dry and sturdy. Charcoal briquettes with a triangular shape are an innovation offered by the service team. In addition to this shape being different from the charcoal briquettes that have been circulating so far, the triangular shape also has advantages based on tests that had been carried out by the service team before this training activity was carried out. That is in terms of the duration of the flame resistance on the coals. Product packaging is carried out using materials that are easy to find and environmentally friendly. However, it still has aesthetic value and ergonomic value in the packaging
