Abstract

Bullying among teenagers is a serious concern, especially in school environment. The impact can make victims of bullying feel anxious and emotionally threatened. SMAN 1 Puloampel is one of schools that experiences bullying. Based on this problem, it is important to identify bullying in teenagers and make prevention in the SMAN 1 Puloampel environment. So the purpose of this activity is to increase students' understanding of the dangers of bullying as an effort to prevent bullying that occurs in SMAN 1 Puloampel school. The method in an effort to prevent bullying in the SMAN 1 Puloampel environment is to conduct legal counseling. Counseling was carried out with object being grade XII students with 55 participants. The results of the counseling were that understanding level of dangers of bullying experienced a significant change. Low level from 8 students to 2 students, moderate level from 9 students to 10 students, and high level from 3 students to 8 students. Aspects with an increase in understanding of the dangers of bullying from the largest to the smallest in order are the understanding aspect increased by 27 points, the motivation aspect increased by 12 points, the impact aspect increased by 5 points, and the prevention aspect increased by 3 points.
