Abstract

This research was conducted at the Class II Metro Correctional Center (Bapas) to determine the causes of work stress. Observations and interviews found that stress was caused by assignments outside of responsibility, difficulty communicating with clients, and miscommunication between employees. Prolonged stress reduces employee productivity and well-being. The interventions implemented include group exercises, sharing sessions, and psychoeducation. Exercise improves physical and moral health, while sharing sessions strengthen social support. Psychoeducation provides insight into stress management and mental health in the workplace. The research results showed that this intervention was successful in reducing stress and increasing productivity. Physical activity and social support strengthen work relationships and improve employee well-being. The research recommends that similar activities be carried out periodically to maintain the welfare and productivity of Bapas Class II Metro employees.
