Abstract

Early childhood is a child who is at the age of about 0-6 years who are in the golden period or golden age. Where at this time brain development, the way of absorption and formation of children's character develops rapidly and strongly. The character that is formed in children is not suddenly or instantly. But the character that grows in children is formed from the environment. This activity aims to inform and provide assistance to parents about child growth and positive parenting in early childhood with the hope that after this activity can improve the knowledge and skills of parents in carrying out positive parenting in their lives. The activity was carried out at PAUD Insan Mandiri located in Purwadadi Village, Lebak Wangi District, Serang. Community service activities are carried out in the form of seminars and questions and answers regarding growth and development problems and character building in children. The result of the implementation of this activity is the formation of knowledge and understanding of respondents (parents) in carrying out good parenting in accordance with the growth and development of children in their daily lives
