Abstract

This legal counseling activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding about the types of drugs, the consequences of their abuse, their mode of circulation, and how to prevent them. The method used in this legal counseling is to use the lecture method, the material is presented through presentation slides by the speakers using infocus, made interestingly to provide a clear picture to the participants related to drug abuse. In addition, the material was also distributed to the participants in the form of hard copies. This activity is carried out in several stages, including the opening stage, the implementation stage and the closing stage. Legal counseling activities on the dangers of drugs include: The participants, especially students, said that drug abuse and problems are a common trend of the times, so the spread is not an important thing to address. In conclusion, after counseling, it opened the insight of the participants, namely students, about the dangers of drugs to themselves and the environment and how to anticipate, detect and overcome the spread of drugs within the scope of students, and be able to recognize the types of drugs so as to avoid their abuse
